Who receives the donation

Donations made through exploringthessaly.gr go to ORIA FILMS NON PROFIT CIVIL LAW COMPANY (ORIA FILMS Α.Μ.Κ.Ε.), a non-profit civil company based in Larissa, Greece, VAT 802658077, GEMI 180370540000.

What a donation is

A donation is voluntary financial support for the magazine's work: research, filming, the archive and running the website. It is not the purchase of a product or service and does not entitle you to anything in return.

The money is used only for the company's purposes and is never distributed as profit.

How payment works

Online donations are paid on Viva's secure payment page (viva.com) by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Your card details are processed only by Viva; Exploring Thessaly never sees or stores them.

You can also donate by bank transfer, using the details on the Support page.

Confirmation ("delivery")

Because a donation does not involve shipping a product, there is no physical delivery. After payment you see a confirmation page on our site and Viva emails you a receipt for the transaction.

If you need a donation receipt from our company, write to info@exploringthessaly.gr.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any point before you complete payment on Viva's page, at no cost. If the payment is not completed, you are not charged.

Refunds

If something went wrong, for example a wrong amount or a double charge, write to info@exploringthessaly.gr within 14 days of the donation, with the date and amount. We will refund the amount to the same card or account it was paid from.

How long the refund takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.

Personal data

For a donation we keep only what we need to confirm it and issue a receipt: amount, date, transaction code and, if you gave them to Viva, your name and email. More in our privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Greek law.
