Pythio is a village in the municipality of Elassona, in the Larissa regional unit of Thessaly, Greece, at an elevation of 711 metres and 50 km in a straight line from Larissa. At the 2021 census it had 285 inhabitants.

Pythio is a village and a community of the Elassona municipality. Before the 2011 local government reform it was a part of the municipality of Olympos, of which it was a municipal district. The community of Pythio covers an area of 38.959 km2. The settlement was known as Selos until 1928, when it was officially renamed Pythion.
